Single-character Mission Tips

Exile 2 has various places where single characters must separate from the group to carry out important missions. This changes the tactics considerably from the team tactics that are normal in Exile 2. Here are a few tips to make life easier:

• Triple-Bless and Haste the character before having him go in. Having him quaff an invulnerability potion can't hurt.
• Give the character plenty of healing and curing potions.
• As soon as you leave the party, go into combat mode.
• Remember that to enter a special you have to exit combat mode.
• Keep your eyes on the prize. Yes, that pile of treasure sure is tempting: Grab it if you can do it safely, otherwise forget it. With only one character you have much less margin for error than with six characters.
