Additional new info at the bottom =============== START ============================================= This will be my best attempt to summarize the Peter Boyles interview with Lawrence Wollersheim, as it proceeds. I'll probably make mistakes in summarizing, leave thinks out, etc, because they talk faster than I type. I predict the Andy Milne or some other apologist will post a note claiming the transcription is totally distorted, but wont cite a specific example or explain how he was able to pick up a Denver radio station in Clearwater, Fla. Initials PB are for Peter Boyles. BF is a summary of back and forth comment. Peter Boyles is a talkshow host on AM 760 in Denver. Lawrence Wollersheim is scheduled on from 7 AM until ?. Peter Boyles is doing promos, which are spurring calls already. Promo - "I'll be talking to Lawrence Wollersheim, the guy who was raided by the feds for what he was doing on the internet." Peter mentions he's talked to Lawrence before. Says there's a reason there is a volcano on the book Dianetics. First two callers reacted to promos. Mentioned that the COS doesnt like him (Peter). First caller - former scieno. discusses e-meter, volcano, etc. Suggests the Marshals' Office was infiltrated by COS at the same time other fed agencies were. Second caller - anti-christian. Says their beliefs just as ridiculous. PB points out that the christian religions dont claim trade secret. PB announces that Helena Kobrin sent him a "4 page fax" which he interpreted as threatening. Didnt read it in detail. Reaffirms support for believing whatever you want. Some discussion of conversion, etc. BREAK FOR 7 AM NEWS/ADS PB - Promos for further shows. Attn Jet: UFO conference in town. Intro of Lawrence Wollersheim ("terrific guy"). Fed Judge Lawrence Babbcock signed writ. Called Lawrence brave man. LW - good morning. Describes FACTNet. PB - draws out that 300 cults/groups covered by FACTNet. LW - confirms. Points out that they're working on many groups. PB - mentions fax again. Mentions restraining order, including "all those acting in concert", meaning Peter. "Thought there was first amendment". LW - mentions KUSA video. COS intimidated. Washington Post suit. Back and forth over threats to sue. PB says, in regards to suit, "bring it". BF over the suit against FactNET. PB - How'd they get federal judge to sign writ. LW - writs are falsehoods. "What religions have trade secrets". PB - "Can you imagine the Vatican suing over people on the Internet talking about Communion?" LW - says judge was duped. BF note that COS isnt mentioned in writ. PB - Challenges COS. Says they, the judge, and the marshals have his hotline numbers. Invites them to shut his show down. Defends his first amendment right to free speech. COMMERCIAL BREAK PB - reprise of guest, raid story. FactNET after 300 cults and groups. fax from Kobrin and SRM. Kobrin says they are on notice that any discussion of the content of the materials violates TRO. In effect threatens to sue. References Piece of Blue Sky as source of any info he reveals. Threat to 1st amendment. LW - Raid story. Marshals broke word to provide inventory. PB outraged that marshals gave stuff to COS. Barred media. Broke down door. Stole mailing list of victims. PB - attacks Babbcock. LW repeats Babbcock was deceived. PB - no wonder they dont want us to report this. LW - seized material being prepared for grand jury investigation. Mentioned Fishman, without discussing details. Mentions scieno celebs. Outs Congressman Bono. PB - again mentions hkk threat, reads some of letter. Reiterates first amendment. Says lines are full. Discusses difference in handling of evidence. Mentions OJ evidence handling vs COS. PB - belief system. LW - overview of what other experts say. Doesnt violate TRO by details. Quotes Sanger re hypnotic techniques. PB - asks what a Thetan is. LW - suggests he ask the COS. PB - focuses in on Bono. BF - fear of these people. Dealing with victims. PB - describes Thetans for the uninitiated. BREAK PB - reintro. Will be back next week. Susan in Boulder - so distressing. ex-spouse in COS. Biggest worry now is the list is in their hands. "Shaking" with outrage. LW - reaffirms channel 9 call. Asks for political investigation. Restates that COS has records. Susan - cant put anything past them. Weird group of people. PB - extends segment for 10 minutes after news, which probably surprised DD. But she agreed to go on with Larry. This should be interesting. BREAK FOR NEWS at 8 AM Lead news story is Larry Wollersheim. "Intention is to get back on line and show we wont be terrorized". BACK - PB intro DD as OSA. DD tries to dead agent LW. Claims LW has long history of criminal activity. DD states that she doesnt want to dispute what LW says. LW cites example of copyrighted King James Bible, and Mein Kampf, and whether church or neo-nazis could search you. DD more dead agent. Avoids PB questions PB What about your church are you so frightened of being made public. DD more dead agent. PB What is so criminal about a radio talking about someone's beliefs. DD/PB argue over the kobrin letter and whether it's a threat. PB what are the thetans, Deborah DD avoids PB what are the thetans, Deborah DD avoids PB what are the theatans, Deborah DD avoids LW talks about being trained to redirect. DD not very good at it, and will have to be replaced. PB offers final word to DD DD claims LW has something to gain by attack on church. He's manipulating KOA, Post, News. Says mike is going to try to get them both back on next week. I started to leave for work here, and stopped taking notes. But Ward Lucas, the KUSA TV anchor, came on impromptu to discuss COS lawsuit threats against them and KTLK. Those threats caused the story to lead the 6 PM news tonight. There were also additional callers, generally but not exclusively pro free speech. As Lawrence predicted, the OSA agent who led off was replaced by Pugh, or whatever her name is, who called back to try some more of the same.
