PD: My name is Mike C... <"Costello" or something like that> I am a private investigator working for a legal firm representing the Church of Scientology. Me: Oh yeah... PD: Do you know Jon Atack or Ron Lawley? Me: I might... PD: Have either of these gentlemen ever asked you to place Scientology material on the Internet? Me: Well I certainly wouldn't answer a question like that! Are you a Scientologist by any chance? PD: No, I am a private investigator working for a legal firm representing the Church of Scientology . Me: Well, I wouldn't have *anything* to do with them if I were you. PD: No? Me: I'm sorry, but due to the nature of your client I'm not interested in taking this conversation any further. PD: That's fine - there's no obligation to answer. Me: Okay. Goodbye. Afterwards I wished I'd asked him to repeat his name and to give me his trading address. He hasn't called back, but if he does I shall be warning him not to contact me further. My lawyer suggests not to engage in any conversation with him at all. I was trying to figure out where he got my name from. Now that I've heard about you, I think it's a fair bet that our names came from the leaked FUSS mailing list - what d'you reckon?
